Short Biography: My research landscape is Knowledge Engineering in a broad sense, especially: Ontology Engineering, Learning, Alignment; Information Extraction and Retrieval from WWW and Multimedia; Knowledge Engineering aspects of Data Mining.

Personal interests include foremost: my family, and local church. When time allows – hiking in the mountains and orienteering. I am also interested in various aspects of human languages, e.g. in ethymology.
